Guys I cannot even explain how sorry I am that I haven't blogged in a month! I have just been really busy with University and life (yes I actually have a life here for a change haha) and whenever I do have time it is pitch black outside (thank you to the one who thought changing time was a good idea) so I can't take any pictures. I have been thinking about getting myself a very cheap softbox so I can blog more often again because I genuinely miss it.

Enough rambling; yesterday we went out for Halloween and obviously dressed up. Only a few days ago I saw Tess Christines Zombie make up tutorial on YouTube and instantly knew that I wanted to recreate it, I never knew it was so easy to create wounds! The make up was relatively easy to do, but putting in contacts was on a whole new level haha. After seeing everything blurry and having a teary eye for hours (my eye is still red 15 hours after removing it) I truly appreciate having a good eye sight and not having to put up with this every single morning & evening; I genuinely do not know how people do it haha. Apart from the contact lens struggle I had a really good night out!

Did you go out for Halloween? If so, what did you dress up as? :) x

LUSH Christmas Event Portsmouth

Yesterday after Uni I rushed to the train station (High heels were definitely the wrong choice) to catch my train with Faye and Catherine to go to the Lush Christmas Event in Portsmouth where I finally got to meet the lovely Alice and Ami. At first we had a little look around the shop until the Christmas collection 2014 finally got revealed. After taking a few pictures all the bloggers went into a separate room where we got a more detailed presentation of the new bath bombs, shower gels, etc. Winter collections are usually my favourite; you get very sweet scents such as snow fairy, fresh scents like So White but also (my favourite), spicy scents like Hot Toddy. Some of my favourite bath bombs were the christmas hedgehog (it's so adorable!), the melting snowman which I had last christmas and looove and cinders

In the end of the event we all got to make our own Comforter which was so much fun! Although mine doesn't look quite as professional as the ones you can buy, I enjoyed making my own bath product SO much! We also got to create our own goody bag; I chose the Hot Toddy Shower gel, the snowman shower jelly, the snow fairy bar and the shoot for the stars bath bomb.

Thank you so much to Lush for making such a lovely event, I had such a fun evening! Definitely go and check out their new collection in your local Lush store, you surely won't be disappointed!

What is your favourite Lush product? :) xx

checked skirt | OOTD

In the last few weeks I seem to have developed a thing for checked clothing, I used to genuinely dislike it but now every checked item catches my eye and wants to make its way into my wardrobe. As a fashion student I also feel kind of obliged to own the latest trends so when I saw this gorgeous skirt I couldn't help but take it home. Although the skirt looks kind of smart-ish I think if you combine it with a plain T-Shirt or even blouse it's still not too much for uni etc. Here in Southampton it has been pretty warm recently, but as soon as it gets colder I will wear this skirt with plain wool jumpers, that combination would make a really cosy looking winter outfit in my opinion :)

I do feel like I need to apologise for the rather unprofessional setting, but there is no one to take my outfit photos here so I had to use my tripod and camera remote in my bedroom.

The skirt is from NewLook, the T-Shirt from Missguided and the shoes are form Pull&Bear

What is your favourite A/W trend? :) xx
